Northern Bobwhite (Adult)

Northern Bobwhite Quails are a native quail and take longer to mature for reproduction as compared to a Pharoah Quail.

The Northern Bobwhite will usually pair up with a mate, but breeders of the Northern Bobwhite also do well with colony breeder birds in the same large flight pen.

They mature in 16 weeks and dress between 7 to 9 oz. They start laying in 20-24 weeks and are prolithic layers.
